If you hopped on social media at all over the weekend you probably noticed your feed was inundated with Happy Mother’s Day posts and status updates. <h1 style="text-align: left;">Moms are 20% more likely to use social media than the general population.</h1>

<p>Not only that, but if you’re not active on social media, but a mom you know is, she says you’re apt to be less involved in her life than if you were Tweeting, posting, and checking in online. Ouch! Don’t take it personally, maybe you can send her a text or email instead, because</p>
<h1 style="text-align: left;">Moms are 49% more likely to own a smartphone than the general population.</h1>
<p>And while they only account for 18% of the total Internet audience,</p>
<h1 style="text-align: left;">Moms are responsible for 32% of online shopping.</h1>

<p>As a women-owned and run company, One2One Network was elated to collaborate with Simple Skin Care which sponsored the PBS special <a href="http://www.makers.com/" target="_blank"><em>MAKERS: Women Who Made America</em>.</a>  This special documentary aired at the top of Women’s History Month and the inspiring content led to an amazing hosted conversation about how women have impacted history.  The two-hour viewing party had “fem-nomenal” results both in terms of the number of tweets and the number of individual participants: the <span style="color: #df7136;">#MAKERSchat</span> hashtag was a national trending topic, generating over <span style="color: #df7136;"><strong>16,000 tweets</strong></span> and <strong><span style="color: #df7136;">39 million</span> impressions</strong> during the broadcast!</p>

<p>During the Awards Show season, One2One Network teamed up with Diet Pepsi to ignite a virtual conversation about the &#8220;best and worst&#8221; moments of the red carpet and awards show with a <strong>#FizzOrFlat</strong> Live Twitter Viewing Party.  The conversation was hosted by social media fashion &amp; beauty mavens who had their eyes on their screens and their opinions flowing through their keyboards. The Twitterverse bubbled over during the 2-hour party, with more than<strong><span style="color: #df7136;"> 3,000 tweets</span> </strong>using the #FizzOrFlat hashtag producing over <strong><span style="color: #df7136;">11 million impressions</span></strong> and was a national trending topic.</p>

<p>Warner Bros Television wanted to spread the word online for ABC’s Halloween episodes for <a href="http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/the-middle" target="_blank">The Middle</a> and <a href="http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/suburgatory" target="_blank">Suburgatory</a>, both airing on the same night. As part of an integrated campaign, One2One Network organized an over 2-hour live viewing party to host the freak-tastic fun.  O2O got the word out about the spooktacular viewing party with a social media burst a few days prior to the shows’ airing.  The party was frightfully successful with <strong><span style="color: #df7136;">over 10,000 tweets</span></strong> using the designated hashtags which produced <span style="color: #df7136;"><strong>27 million impressions</strong>.</span></p>

You won&#8217;t see any sidebars or headers cluttering up the site with advertising that may or may not get clicked. We love forming partnerships with companies and we&#8217;ve found it works best if we work the whole campaign into the content of the site. So now all visitors see is beautiful custom work.</p>

<p><em><strong>Alli:</strong></em> When we partner with companies we can make their brand messaging more relevant to our readers. Most people are looking at websites on their phone or tablet, so they don&#8217;t even see sidebar ads anymore. Now we&#8217;re able to take a brand&#8217;s messaging and put it in a package that people will care about. Products will be taken and integrated so well that readers will actually enjoy them. And the women who are creating the content on Blissfully Domestic aren&#8217;t in an office somewhere, they&#8217;re living life. They&#8217;re juggling families and careers. This enables them to take the messaging and convey it in a way that is natural. And because we have strict guidelines about who we partner with and promote, it will continue to be natural.</p>

That&#8217;s a nice thought, but we think relaxation is sometimes less about &#8220;unplugging&#8221; and more about plugging in—to our favorite movie or TV show. Aaaaahhhhhh, you know what we&#8217;re talking about? Some days you just need to kick up your feet, curl up on the couch, and spend some quality entertainment time.</p>
<p>We asked our One2One Network members some questions about their personal movie and TV time:  how much do they get, and what they do when it&#8217;s their turn to rule the remote. Here are a few of the things they told us:</p>

<p>I&#8217;m a 34 year old deep -fried southern belle and aspiring domestic darling. I love to read, cook and play with my kiddos.  Currently I&#8217;m obsessed with cookbooks, cooking gadgets, photography and my Canon 50D.  I am clumsily trying to figure out Lightroom4 and how it can help me to enhance, but not change, my pictures.</p>
<p>I’ve been married to my own dented armor-wearing prince charming for 11 years and we’re attempting to raise two children with good morals, good manners, open hearts and bright futures.</p>

<p>Absolutely! I&#8217;ve been at <a href="http://blissdomconference.com/" target="_blank">BlissDom</a> every year since 2009. I began speaking there in 2010, the very next year, because I love the community so much. In 2011 and 2012 I was a community leader, helping both newbies and foodies find their way around.</p>
<h2><strong>Where are you writing now? Where can people find you online? </strong></h2>
<p>I&#8217;m on <a href="http://blissfullydomestic.com/author/rachel-matthews/" target="_blank">Blissfully Domestic</a>, of course. I love the community there and have been writing there since February 2008 &#8212; can you believe it!</p>

<p>One of my all-time favorite posts is a <a href="http://blissfullydomestic.com/food-bliss/recipes-food-bliss/deep-cocoa-coffee-cookies/65393/" target="_blank">Deep Cocoa Cookie Recipe</a> I wrote a couple years ago. I have to admit, dark chocolate is my weakness so this cookie has it all.</p>
